Joy's passion is to see women grow in their relationship with the Lord, who strengthens us and gives us everything we need for life and godliness. Joy was born and raised in B.C. and is now residing in Penticton. Joy has a blended family of 4 daughters and 10 grand-children, and is married to Walter, a wonderful man who is retired from his career but still very active in the church and community.

Michelle and her husband, Paul, felt God calling them to begin a Bible study in their home back in 1996. They had befriended many fellow Chinese-speaking believers in Chilliwack but realized there was no Chinese church for them to attend. The Bible study grew over the years and officially became a church plant within the Chilliwack Alliance Church in 2006.

Currently, Michelle and her husband serve the growing international student population in Chilliwack. Michelle also serves in the Children’s ministry within the Chilliwack Chinese Alliance Church.

Michelle and Paul live on peaceful mountaintop acreage with their adopted dog, Sadie. They are parents to four married children and grandparents to five grandchildren.
