Our First Steps pilot seminar was held at Brentwood Park Alliance Church, spring 2016 and here is what one participant had to say:

“The Vision portion … was definitely my biggest take away. Using our churches existing Vision statement to tailor the Ladies Ministry vision was very helpful. I got a lot out of the discussion, everything from the scripture we talked about in Proverbs to the importance.”

First Steps

First Steps was developed to provide teaching, inspiration and a fresh spark to Women’s Ministry within our C&MA denomination.

First Steps is Designed for:

  • Pre-existing Women’s Ministry or for churches desiring to build Women’s Ministry from the ground up.

  • Other ministry groups can also apply the same principles.

First Steps Projected Outcomes:

  • To increase understanding of the need for clear ministry purpose.

  • To demonstrate how personality and spiritual gifts can operate effectively to create a vibrant ministry.

  • To provide greater understanding of how to handle conflict in a biblical way.

  • To lay a foundation for ministry to be built upon.
