Reflections of Joy: "Wonderfull"

Thoughts of thankful praise are sometimes scarce when my mind is full of the things that are wrong in this fallen world. Where is the wonder that filled my senses when first seeing the Rocky Mountains or riding a roller coaster or jumping into the cold lake on a hot day? … my senses exploding with an overflow of taking it all in!

Life has become ordinary with the everyday tasks. I long for the fullness of touring new places around this globe, and then I stop to consider that for others, coming to my town is a new experience filling their soul with new delights. And each place on this earth, even when seen over and over again can be new again. I open my eyes to the wonder of His creation – filled with all that we need to know that there is a God, and He has a plan, and creation is His beautiful masterpiece for His people to enjoy.

There might not be an adrenaline rush, but there is often the wonder of it all, accompanied by the peace of knowing that He is present, that He cares, and that He is Wonder Full!
