“We stand on the brink of eternity” - Ann Voskamp

What is time when we have no end of it? Does the clock of this world push unrelentingly? Do I bow to its constant ticking? We all have a measure of time on this earth, in this body, constrained by their restrictions. So what do I do with my time, energy and my focus here? Do I fill the days, hours and minutes feeding my own desires and senses, or do I live my time here to make an eternal difference, an eternal betterment for others?

What I do here will decide my eternal lifestyle – why else would I need to linger in the confines of this world? I recently heard a turned around quote that I really appreciate: “There’s no present like the time.”

Lord, my desire is to live my life in sweet communion with You… not rushed but urgently seeking You daily. And, to be an instrument of Your love, mercy and grace, showing others the path to You. And, in the giving of my time and my life here, You would continue to pour Your abundant life into my body, soul and spirit, both now and into all eternity for Your honor and glory. Amen.
