Redemption – Reconciliation – Restoration – Renovation
God provides all the means to have the ugly things in life to be made new… to be just as if there were nothing ugly or nothing wrong in the first place. He longs to bring restoration to the souls of His children. His desire is for sweet perfection and He has given us all things to bring us into that place – that place of intimate fellowship with Him. Without His provision we would be wandering in darkness, trying on our own to find our way back to goodness and light.
We long for the Light, we want to be found standing in the light of His perfect love with no shame or guilt. We long to be free from accusation, whether from others, from our own minds, or from the enemy who came to kill, steal and destroy anything good.
My desire is to be in fellowship with Him. His desire is to provide the way. And this is possible in the life, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is the Redeemer, the Renovator, the Reconciler, the Restorer, the One who gives us the opportunity to Redo… to have our dark changed to light.
